I've come across this great Paul Rand resource. Paul-Rand.com is a catalogue of some of his work. I could spend hours looking through his work. See his work reminded me of my time studying Graphic Design at AUT in Auckland. I hope you enjoy it too.
To start with I would like to congratulate the cradores of this blog, mainly because when I read it I enjoyed it very much. A few years ago I attended a conference called guanacaste costa rica real estate, at that conference had many interesting topics. Perhaps readers may find no relationship between the blog and this conference, but if someday can attend, would realize that there is much to do with this blog.
Think about how Environmental Graphic Design effects your world and sense of place. Little thought has gone into most graphics in our environment. Substandard signage and Environmental Graphics are everywhere.
Environmental graphic design is a field on it's own. Designers have to think differently about graphics in the physical environment. Issues include..... Movement of people (wayfinding), Landmarks, Identity, Architecture, Sustainability (projects have to be relevant in future years).
This Blog will discuss and inform about Environmental Graphic Design. Hopefully offer some solutions and ideas about how things could be improved. Making our experience of public spaces more enjoyable.

So I can express my opinion on this article would have to use at least 20 lines, but I'll do it smaller, it's fabulous!
